Abersoch Golf Club website link

A hidden gem nestling behind the sand-dunes the 18 hole (5847yds) course has a mixture of both links and parkland with many testing holes and wonderful views overlooking Cardigan Bay and the Snowdonia Mountain Range.

Our signature 3rd hole par 3 with elevated tee requires an accurate drive over both gorse and a water hazard to a sloping green where there’s a bunker in waiting at the back of the green.

The original 9 holes were designed by Harry Vardon who was 6 times British Open Champion.

The course itself, measuring 6629 yards from the back, is noted for large greens, a succession of testing par four holes and five short holes, varying in length and direction.
The Club has hosted over 50 major events; the Honours Boards in the Clubhouse show, amongst others, the names of four Open and five Amateur Champions.
